I’m working on a social work writing question and need guidance to help me learn.
POWER AND SEXUALITY. What privileges do you enjoy because of your gender? What privileges do you enjoy because of your sexual identity/orientation? What disadvantages have you experienced as a female/male? What disadvantages have you experienced as a heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or transgendered individual? What is your experience with the use of sexual power (sexual harassment, sexual abuse, sexism, heterosexism)? What is your experience with sexual minorities (homosexual men/women, transgendered individuals)? How do you respond when the sexual identity of someone (gender, gender role expectations, sexual orientation) is not immediately evident? How might your sexuality affect your interactions as a social worker (or chosen profession) with others of the same/different sexuality? What are you going to do to ensure you work effectively with those having a different sexuality identity?
Essays should be no less than 2, no more than 3 pages in length and should adhere to APA formatting guidelines. Add the reference page to the end of the paper. You do not need an abstract in the autobiographies.
