the concise summary of the authors main argument(s)
a summary of the main points and evidence that the author uses any criticisms or questions youd like to raise
your essay should explore how the articles might be a dialogue with each other (in terms of topic,approach, country, religion, etc), or might offer conflicting perspectives.
The opening paragraph that introduces both articles briefly describes their content and explainswhy it makes sense to pair them
Then should discuss each article in terms of the authors main argument, as well as providing a a good number of examples of the kinds of evidence that the author uses to support the claimsthey are making
Should have a conclusion that brings the two articles into dialogue with each other, showing howthey engage with similar topics but from different approaches, or why they reach differentconclusions.
It should avoid sweeping or broad generalizations, taking care to make claims that are groundedin the facts of the readings or things, we have learned in this course.
