New Directions in Work Motivation Theory
Twenty-first-century organizations and their workforces are concerned with issues that might not have existed a decade ago. To explain the motivational drive behind todays and tomorrows workforce, Kanfer (2009) proposes further research on the three Cs : content, context, and change. Consider contemporary social, economic, and cultural factors that may provide possible new areas and topics for research on work motivation.
With these thoughts in mind:
Post by Day 3 a brief description of possible new areas and topics for research on work motivation. Then explain two possible areas and/or topics in work motivation research that interest you most and explain why.
