Part 1: Discussion question
This week you’re discovering how practicing your technology skill can keep you at the top of your game.
In paragraph 1, using a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), rate how proficient you feel with your technology skill right now. How do you envision developing your technology skill in your academic, professional, or home life?
In paragraph 2, list at least three goals you have to improve your technology skill throughout this course and beyond.
Remember to answer each part of the question in 2 paragraphs. Each paragraph should be 5-7 sentences with limited grammatical errors (total 10-14 sentences). Also, respond to at least 1 of your peers (at least 1-2 sentences).
Part 2: Reply to Zuwana Morgan
I would say I am a confident 7.5. I feel I am very comfortable with technology and for the most part, it does not intimidate me. However I am not as proficient in excel, as I would like to be. I am very comfortable following steps to figure out how to fix things or how to do something. YouTube is a great resource on how to figure out pretty much anything. I like to use Google as well but the step-by-step videos you get from YouTube tend to help me more.
The three goals I would like to improve on throughout this course to help with my technology skills are slowing down and taking a deep breath when I feel overwhelmed, looking for instructions and asking for help. Most of the time if we just slow down and take a deep breath the answer is right in front of us. If that does not work we can always go on Google I’ll take the time to look at a YouTube video. Sometimes we just have to ask someone for help.
