For Essay 2, complete The Assignment on page 219 (physical book) and 220 (ebook) of your textbook. You will be developing a discovery plan. The Assignment begins as follows: “Assume that you are a paralegal working for Attorney Juliana Dahl Johnson who represents Renee in the above hypothetical. You have been asked to suggest an appropriate discovery plan to guide the information-gathering effort in this case…” The discovery plan should be written using scholarly essay format and should demonstrate an understanding and application of the discovery process and methods. - There will be three short essays during this class that should be presented using proper scholarly essay writing. Each of the short essays have several questions/components. Each question/component will require a 250-300 word response, which means the total word count will depend on the number of subparts to a question. Be judicious in your response so that your answers are concise and also clearly indicate that you thoroughly understand and can summarizing the key legal concepts. Utilize course materials/assigned readings to inform your work; however, the work must be your own and should not be comprised of more than 25% quotes.
