PART 1:
For this discussion, you will be asked to consider the persona you created for 2-1 Milestone Activity: Audience Persona.
- In an initial post:
- Attach a copy of your submission for the 2-1 Milestone Activity: Audience Persona.
- Assess your persona to identify demographic or psychographic information that is missing from the initial submission but would be required in order to further understand the audience.
- Perform research to locate the missing information, posting the information and APA citation for the information.
- In a response to two peers:
- Identify a possible piece of demographic or psychographic information (not identified in the initial post or milestone submission) that will help your peer build a more comprehensive picture of the audience.
PART 2:
- Overview – Imagine you are the manager of a software development team working on new applications for your company, Optimum Way Development, Inc. Your company has just announced a new employee program where a select number of employees will be given paid time to perform research in an area of interest in their field. In order to apply, you must create a presentation that will be reviewed by a panel of executives in the company. These executives are business professionals who do not have technical education or experience.

Consider your own field of study (degree program) and what questions or issues you find interesting within this field. If you have trouble thinking of some, you can search the internet to see what professionals in the field believe are the most pressing questions or issues in the field today.To complete this activity, address the following criteria:
- Create a presentation that explains what your area of interest is. In your presentation, do the following:
- Pose your specific research question on one specific, current issue in your field of study.
- Use communication techniques that are appropriate for the audiences preferences and motivations.
- Articulate who the research will help. Include supporting details that explain the need for the research and the audience for the research.
- Create the speakers notes that would accompany each slide of the presentation. In the notes, use dialogue that communicates the appropriate main ideas to the audience.
Resources are not required, but any resources used must be appropriately cited using APA style. The following resources may help support your work on the project:

Guidelines for Submission
To complete this activity, you must submit a research presentation.Your research presentation must:
- Be at least 500 words (includes both the slide content and the corresponding speech)
- Be submitted in a presentation format (e.g., PowerPoint)
- Completely address all of the requirements in the Prompt section
- Include the speech that would accompany the presentation, either in the notes section of each slide or in an additional document
PART 3:
- Create a presentation that explains what your area of interest is. In your presentation, do the following:
- Many organizations still do not have dedicated information security staff, although that is rapidly changing. Depending on the size of an organization, there could be a single employee who is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organizations security posture. This would also include basic operations, security checks, and user education and training, among many other responsibilities. This is typical of small organizations that do not have the resources necessary to stand up a full team of information security professionals. Larger organizations are typically better equipped to establish and maintain a dedicated information security staff. As you will see throughout this module, security professionals are often not embedded within an organizations IT department.For your initial post, consider the benefits of having dedicated roles within a security team versus having individual employees who must be jacks of all trades when it comes to improving an organizations information security posture. Should you reference any internal or external resource, remember to cite your sources appropriately.In your initial post, address the following:
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a dedicated security team?
- Select a role that was noted in the module resources that is of interest to you. If you are aware of other information security roles that were not discussed in the module resources, be sure to find a reference and cite it within your post.
- Explain your selected role and how that role supports and enhances security posture within an organization.

- Do you believe that each of your peers selected roles would be a better fit for a small organization or a large one? Why?

- When developing a website, it is important to understand how the structure and navigation of the site will enable users to move through the content.
