Question Description
The paper aims to reveal your personal experience and thoughts about music of the Silk Road through a discussion of a topic that interests you. The subject can be a genre, a performer, a group, a composer, or a style. Below is a tentative list of the topic that you may choose from but creativity is always welcome and you may come up with your own topic. Do not hesitate to convey your true thoughts about the topic!
4-5 pages in length (typed and double-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins).
At the end you must provide the list of sources that you’ve referred to. It can be a book, an article, or Internet source. Make sure you provide at least 5 sources. Frame your essay with introduction and conclusion.
Include one youtube link that illustrates your argument and briefly discuss it. Do not use the same links that we used in class.
IMPORTANT: If you borrow material from any outside source make sure you credit the source immediately. By borrowing I mean not only direct use but also paraphrasing. It is not enough just to include the title in the list of sources. Make sure you provide in-text citation. You can use any formatting style, including APA, Chicago, etc.
