Students will develop story time appropriate to a group of K-3 students and a group of 4-6 students.
They must choose a book and theme for each group.
The student must plan a presentation along with an activity and a snack for the students for their story time.
The student will present his/her story time ideas to the rest of the class by preparing a video explaining their plan and showing the books selected, an example of the activity, and a picture/example of the snack.
Classmates will provide feedback on the presentations.
After the presentation, each student will write a 1 page double-spaced reflection of the planning experience for both story time groups as well as addressing the feedback provided by their classmates.
After presenting their Story Time ideas, each student will write a 2 page double-spaced reflection of the planning experience and address comments made by classmates.
