Question Description
Please make sure you review this week’s materials, the Guidelines for Essay #3, and the grading rubric below before submitting your document. You will complete an Annotated Bibliography where you will find a minimum of 3 sources for your upcoming paper. You can certainly include more than 3, and if you do, you will earn 5 extra credit points for each credible sources completed beyond the required three. Below is a checklist of some things to ask yourself before submitting your document:
- Is each source a credible academic journal article or excerpt from a professionally published book? Did you retrieve the source from the Grossmont College Library?
- For each source, did you include a paragraph where you provided:
- an introduction of the source title, author(s), and credibility about who the author(s) is? Sometimes, a Google search might be necessary to figure out why the author(s) is credible to talk on this subject.
- a 2-3 sentence summary of the article?
- an overview of whether the source will be useful for your paper and why?
- Did you include a Works Cited page as the last page of your document which lists sources in alphabetical order by author(s) and cites each source using proper MLA documentation?
- Did you MLA format your document and include a Word Count in the heading?
